1600 FTIR Spectrophotometer

Elmer FTIR 1600 FT-IR Bench top Spectrophotometer with
Spectrum software and P.C. This system can be used as
a Stand-alone system with the keyboard and monitor,
or Controlled via the included P.C. and Spectrum Software.
The unit has four interface connections at rear to allow
connection to a printer, plotter, or computer.
The 1600
has stable, reliable performance due to only a few moving
parts. The optical system is sealed and purge with nitrogen
to remove the effects of heat, humidity, and external
gases. The optical bench rests on vibration-proof mounting
pads, which protect the optical system from mechanical
shocks. Desiccant is added to the system to help remove
any water vapor and carbon dioxide that may enter. The
wire wound source is stabilized by the use of insulation
and brass heat sinks to help maintain a consistent thermal
stability.
